My wife, Alicia, and I recently moved to Winter Park, FL. We love it! I grew up in South Orlando, and it’s literally 30-45 mins from everything. It’s so nice to be close to parks, all kinds of grocery stores, great restaurants, close to most of the music venues in Orlando, and so much more. This is the side of town I’ve always wanted to live in.
Making It with Chris G. Podcast
In 2020, the podcast will be released once a month, unless there is a major change in my life. The first episode was with Ari Herstand. This was our third interview. Along with the monthly podcast, there are many other exciting things in the works to provide more educational resources for musicians and students of the music business.
AEG Presents
I just finished my second year as a Production Manager with AEG Presents Southeast. So far, I’ve worked over 225 shows for them from clubs to theaters to Amphitheaters, and empty lots or fields all over the Southeast United States, but mostly in Florida. We can turn anything into a concert experience. This experience over the last few years has been amazing. On my about me page, I have a list of concerts I’ve worked with them. My role as a production manager is to advance all the shows (so go over all the details on what will happen on the day of show), payout all artists vendors, and prepare the artist and venue settlements. It’s basically like being an accountant and a concert producer all in one.
New Parent
My son was born on February 25, 2020. It’s only been a short time, but this already has been such a beautiful and exciting adventure for my wife and I. We’re spending lots of time feeding him, playing, and changing diapers, and every second of it has been an absolute joy. Already, my life has completely transformed, and I’m excited to explore the world through his curiosity for life, and hope to provide an environment to raise a happy, inspired, and good human.
