Artist Management (2010 to Present)
I dabbled in Artist Management when I first started in the music business, from 2006 to 2008. I managed a few local bands from Orlando, but nothing major during that time. My first real management client, where we did some real things was, Emily Kopp (how is currently performing under Lowen). Emily used to be my assistant at the Plaza Live in Orlando, FL and I booked her as a runner for most of my shows. One day, a co-worker of mine told me that Emily has been working on writing original music, and had a demo of the first song she ever wrote (“Potential”). When she showed me the song, I remember being completely blow away, and I wanted to do whatever I could to get her to the next level. So, my journey in artist management began, and Emily hit the road. She was such a natural and phenomenal songwriter. Through her journey, Emily has been able to sustain her career as a full-time musician through synch licensing for commercials. You can hear her story here. Some of the successes here was booking Emily to open for artists such as ZZ Ward, Alex & Sierra, Colin Hay, Zach Deputy, Brandi Carlile, Delta Rae, and so many more. Also, I’ve been able to help build her team by setting her up with her current Entertainment Attorney (Matt Cottingham who has been on the podcast), and in 2019 got her connected with her booking agent, Meg White with International Creative Management (ICM). I had the privilege of working with Emily during the early parts of her career from 2010 to 2015.

In 2015, I started working for Ever 7 Management with one of my mentors, Randy Dease (who is one of the founders of Fly South Music Group and former manager for artists such as Creed, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, and many more). With Randy, I had my first co-management experience working with Zach Deputy for two years. During this time, I also assisted Randy with some of the other artists on his roster, mainly doing social media marketing for Jason Eady.

Took a short break from Artist Management during my time with AEG Presents from 2018 to 2020, where I was the Production Manager working shows from clubs to theaters to arenas and festivals.

In 2020, launched OC MGMT Group. OC is a tip of the cap to my sons initials and to my company ONElive, which stands for One Consciousness (OC).
