OC Management Group is a Creative Talent Management company focused on working with creatives in music, tv/film, comedians, and content creators such as podcasters, YouTubers, social media influencers, etc. The company was founded in July of 2020 by Chris Goyzueta, who has worked in the music industry since 2006 as a Talent Buyer, Production Manager, and Artist Manager.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for people who are eager to learn and gain experience in many different elements from the world of entertainment, as we currently work with rappers, pop artists, podcasters, etc. who are all using content strategies to grow their brands with alternative revenue streams to build their business. As a start-up we have two different goals; we understand that we will not be able to keep great talent because of our limited funding. Therefore, our first goal is to develop individuals in the entertainment business that move on to bigger and better opportunities. It is our mission for companies to look at a resume and be completely confident in hiring an individual that has worked with OC Management Group. Secondly, it is also our goal to retain talented individuals within OC Management Group by growing quickly enough to keep up with competitors and keep people growing and working with us.

Responsibilities

  • Build YouTube Ad Targeting lists for Artist Management clients

  • Find 30 seconds to 1-minute clips from Podcast episodes to use for repurposed content using any video editing software (iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

  • Create Teaser clips for podcasts with Canva for client podcasts

  • Create quote graphics for podcasts with Canva for client podcasts

  • Show Notes for Making It with Chris G. Podcasts

  • Basic Video editing, which only involves cutting clips and putting them in a specific sequence. Platforms that can be used include Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Davinci Resolve, iMovie, etc.

  • Schedule template social media posts with Hootsuite

  • Create landing pages for ads using ToneDen

  • Update LinkTree links

  • Create Digital Advertising Reports on Google Sheets with data that will be provided from Facebook Ads Manager

  • Organize and send out resources for digital street teams

  • Other promotional, content, and reporting related tasks

  • Update websites on Squarespace and Bandzoogle

Requirements

  • Work 10-15 hours per week virtually

  • Have access to a laptop and video editing software (free software is ok)

  • Understanding of the music business either through coursework or work experience

  • Understanding of digital marketing either through coursework or work experience

  • Some of our clients are creators in the political space. Therefore, assistants must be comfortable in working with the Liberty Movement and Libertarian-focused political content that may be considered controversial and also have the ability to pick out content for repurposing for this audience.
